Oh man I agree with you OP. It's fairly rare that I've ever heard someone outright say one or the other version of this movie are complete crap. I'm not saying there's a ton of excitement, but usually people are pretty satisfied with all of movies. I'm tangentially invested because this was the only horror movie that ever scared me (it was my own fault, I was trying to watch what my older cousins were watching at like 6, lmao).
