Oh man, yeah, STRONGLY seconding TLG. What a pointless waste that was. Especially because Mulder and Scully went on the lam like two(?) episodes later, and TLG feel like they could've (should've) been involved in M&S's life on the lam. Like, TLG not only feel easy to write into that scenario, they actually feel borderline necessary to that scenario. But instead CC & Co. decided to kill them off with very little fanfare and for no actual reason. *facepalm*
