The closest I have ever come to self-insert Mary Sue fic is this dream I had once where I was Aya's daughter and he got killed and I had to avenge his death with a katana while wearing a lot of black leather. It was deeply embarassing, yet at the same time kind of awesome. I just wonder why my subconscious couldn't pick a better show than Weiss Kreuz to insert me into.
