TV shows need to stop using miscarriages for cheap angst, to be resolved by the end of the season, at latest.

A miscarriage isn't something you ever get over. You learn to live with the grief, and it gradually fades and becomes smaller and less sharp, but it's still there, waiting to ambush you.
