Oh no, linking RL missing persons case to cryptid stuff is not on. What case did they link? Did they go for "eaten by cryptids" or "this person ran off with Bigfoot?"

The one I watched was speculating on whether or not the mythical thunderbird might be responsible for a missing woman who vanished during a mountain marathon, but I suspect that every episode tries to link a cryptid with a IRL missing person's case. It's kind of awful.

Uuuuuugh, I hate it when that happens. I don't mind when I'm watching a show and they vaguely note that it's possible such and such a cryptid is potentially behind some missing people but as soon as they start making it about RL missing people, nope, I'm out.

is this not the podcast about the missing US senators?? because I listened to that and reading this I was like "wait they never mentioned cryptids wtf"
