Ohhh, She wrote Fence. I knew I recognized that name. Yeah, I liked Fence, though she does not seemed inclined to finish it which is *thumbs down*, and thought about picking up Captive Prince but it seemed too... rapey for me.

!!! I forgot Fence was a thing. I've seen zero talk about it since the promo's.
And i'm not overly surprised that she's put it on the backburner to instead write another medieval-ish fantasy series.
I don't think she got the response that she wanted with Fence since most of her readers were hanging around for more captive prince content and instead got a fencing series based in a modern day setting.
It's a really shitty thing to do to Fence readers though.

As someone who's read the Captive Prince series, ughh.
It's frustrating that the first book is so damn sex-slavey and the world building is 'like that'TM because it's impossible to recommend the series to people without mentioning the elephant in the room.
I wasn't as squicked out as some people but i definitely have no intention of reading book one again, it's just drivel.
