And since you're making snap judgments, it has absolutely squat to do with "nostalgia" getting in the way either (SPD and Mystic Force are right up there in my favorite seasons with the likes of Zeo and Space), even if I am primarily an old-school PR fan. It has everything to do with irritating hero characters (aside from Cam, who I tolerated, I wanted to punch them all for their ZOMGXTREEEEEM!!1ness and saying "dude" every five seconds), idiot villains who couldn't find their way out of a paper bag, a cast that couldn't hold American accents to save their lives, and the absolute massacre of the sentai source (which I saw all of before NS started and positively adored). I don't care if it was essentially parodying itself. I don't care how many people tell me to give it another chance. It is the one and only PR season I flat-out refuse to watch again ever, it left that bad of a taste in my mouth. I see so many people fawning over it within the greater PR fandom that I cannot understand just what it is that everyone loves about it.
