Seishiro from Tokyo Babylon. 14 year old me never recovered from the ending of that series.

Oof, that ending destroyed my young teen self.

Rose Tyler, Tony Stark and Wanda in the MCU, Poe, Booth on Bones, Ted on How I Met Your Mother, Natalie on Chicago Med (already hated Will from the beginning, but she got worse as things progressed), and Wonder Woman in the DCU (her second movie ruined her for me).

Tony Stark. Loved him in IM1, IM2, and the Avengers. Slowly grew to hate him as the MCU kept going.

Darcy Lewis. She was fun in the first Thor but in Thor 2 she was so obnoxious. Her presence in every fandom's fanfic doesn't help.

Tony Stark: It was a slide starting in AoU, after EDITH I actively loath him.

Dumbledore: YIKES the way he treated Harry.

Cigarette Smoking Man was so mysterious and interesting initially and all that possibility just went down the drain.

Female characters who start out as ditzy girls who aren't that strong and have silly shallow crushes but make up for it with their amusing quirks and relatable weaknesses, and then turn into boring badasses who are still in love when they should have gotten over it.

That is to say, Sakura from Naruto and Lizzie from Black Butler.

Coming back in before being accused of being a SasuNaru and SebaCiel shipper to say I'm neither and I hate one character in each of those ships too, but they don't apply to this thread because I never liked them.

dean winchester. i don't hate him, he's a very effective character, but i hate his whole ethos. his dogma is the worst.

Toph. I know everyone loves her and I like that's she's the best earthbender and I love her conflict with her parents, and I like her ruthless self-interest as contrasted with Katara's helicopter smothering, but I really feel like Toph is very selfish and not in a reasonable way and it turns into intentional and unintentional cruelty.

Sasuke and Sakura from Naruto and Rose from Doctor Who.

Ha! This is kind of a combination of the two, really. Couldn't stand Sansa Stark at the beginning, then she earned my sympathy as the story went on. I started rooting for her. But in the TV series, she started becoming this insufferably self-righteous individual in season 8, so I went back to just thinking she was annoying. I hope she's a lot better in the book ending, though we might never know.

Gabby Dawson from Chicago Fire.

I just hated how she kept being like 'oh I want want want' and then either gave up before achieving what she wanted or once getting it she was over it in a hot second. I hated her relationship with Casey - he always felt more like a trophy for her.

Dazai from Bungou Stray Dogs. Thought he was an amusing character at the beginning but he got more and more annoying. The fact hes the ultimate creator's pet and so vastly popular in fandom were what tipped the scale from dislike over yo hating him.

Alistair from Dragon Age. Origins, especially; the longer the game went on, the more irritating I found him.
