Though I just grossed myself out finding out Aladdin is 18 regardless.

The internet has fucking ruined people.

I strongly disagree with ayrt's opinion on this, but ffs, please stop this "yOuRe BrAiNwAsHeD bY tHe InTeRnEt" silliness. Some people find things squicky that you don't. You working so hard to invalidate that mostly just reflects on you.

The whole thing with squicks is that they're the person who has them's responsibility and absolutely no one else's. "tHe InTeRnEt" has done an excellent job of convincing many people that the opposite is true and it's everyone's responsibility except their own to manage their squicks. The person you're defending may not be that type, but their "Aladdin was RUINED because it had a thing that squicked me" nonsense doesn't bode well.

It's no different than people finding Sonic the Hedgehog porn and declaring their childhood 'ruined', some people just aren't overly comfortable with sexualized content of cartoon characters, especially those from their childhood. This isn't a new concept.
