Twelve Kingdoms (both anime and novels) has such an amazing world building.

Haven't read them but I've heard The Dresden Files also has amazing world building. I'm trying to remember the name of this other book but all I remember it was that the world was mostly water and the character was a dude who got mauled by his doppleganger. But it also has amazing world building as well.

The Dresden Files has some fun world building, but I wouldn't call it amazing. It's not terribly original and relies on a lot of urban fantasy stereotypes if that matters.

Aaaah gotcha!

I've never read it myself but heard good things on it. Might end up taking a peek into the books and see if they are to my liking.

they are awful. i've heard people say they get better "later" but honestly i don't trust people who stuck with the series through the first books.

the worldbuilding is also paper thin and just a collection of things thrown together without rhyme or reason, it's sad.

Ooooh well that sucks. And I was planning on reading them on the future. Guess that's that and I'm better off reading something else.
