Honestly I would kill for a good Dark Visions or Forbidden Game TV/movie adaptation. I love those ones.

I could never get through the whole Nightworld series but my favorite is Dark Angel, which feels like a secret in itself. Everyone hates that one, mostly because it feels so tangential to the rest of the series. Maybe that's why I like it?

Well, also I'm a sucker for a makeover story.

i was skimming and saw 'dark angel' and got very excited before scrolling back up to reread the secret. (it's my favorite show.)

what are the books about? i imagine not a genetically engineered ex-supersoldier who escaped a covert government facility when she was nine and comes to help a cyberjournalist expose corruption in the city of seattle.

I devoured her Vampire Diaries series in college (my friends had all read it) when I was a teenager and I still wish the tv show had been more faithful. then again I don't hold out hope for tv shows to be faithful to anything anymore.

Man I read these as a teenager and am still annoyed that the final book was never released. George RR Martin fans think THEY'VE got it bad...

I don't have anything to say about the secret, but oh my god, the "Free glow-in-the-dark stickers inside!" caption on that paperback has me cackling. My childhood evoked in seven words.
