OP, please rethink this. Sometimes the cover IS better or at least, more to your taste. I prefer Rascal Flatts’ version of Life is a Highway over Tom Cochrane’s, and Manfred Mann’s Earth Band version of Blinded by the Light is superior to Bruce Springsteen’s, IMO.

So relax. You have a version you like, and that’s just fine. If anyone gets on your ass about what version you like better, tell them to take a long walk off a tall cliff.
