I love Alison Brie and even I make this mistake on occasion when hearing/reading their names. It's definitely the cheese names that trip me up.

On a related note, pre-Disney, Brie's ig username was cheeselarson and I greatly enjoyed that.

I sometimes mix up the names of Brian d'Arcy James and James D'Arcy. I know who the individual actors are and which movies/shows they are in respectively, just sometimes when I see one of their names listed, I think of the other actor.

Brie Larson's actual name is Brianne.

I don't know anybody named Brie by their parents, but a few Briannas, so I assume if it's popular it's a nickname.
