I was gonna say. A gold medal is a much stronger support for how mental health is worth more than the sport? What now? Choosing the sport over health is supposed to support health? I'm confused.

I don't at all support this, but I think the secret is supposed to mean that if she had gotten a gold medal for the balance beam, then the secret OP would find the time that Simone Biles took to get herself back to a mental place where she could compete more justifiable.
