Hmmm. A mild version of an age-gap ship. (Both having reached age of consent, I mean, with a side of mentoring.) I like exploring boundaries, and how they shift. The hierarchies of age mean less and less as people grow older, and mentoring relationships shift as people acquire skills experience... so that's a shifting boundary right there.

It's annoyingly fluffy, sorry.

(I mean, I've also shipped assassins trying to kill each other except here's this one person who understands them and also they're horny, so. I'm not *always* fluffy.)
