tbh this is one of the reasons I love fanfic for The Hobbit movies~ It's great. I don't care that the movies themselves weren't the greatest (I love them anyway) but I love the shipping it brought about.

The Narnia rec above is great too. I don't have much really, I haven't been able to find anything. My disappointment is as real as it is bitter.

Half the reason I promoted this secret was to get recs myself.

And yes, The Hobbit fanfiction has helped. And The Dwarves by Markus Heitz is great I highly recommend it even if it is not romance.
