It's a rainy, gloomy Sunday where I am and I both love it and hate it. Love it, because we desperately need the rain and hate it because I don't drive so if I want to go out, I have to go out in it.

I've spent most of the day playing Tears of Themis instead and I'm really enjoying it. My phone is charging right now, so I have to take a break, and I'm all 'but, but... I don't want to'.

I've also got a doctor's appt later this week to talk about my anti-anxiety/anti-depression meds and I'm going to bring up the possibility of these being connected to an inattentive ADHD diagnosis. I've never been tested but it runs in my family and I've been doing a lot of reading lately and it really sounds like there's a good chance I've got it despite the fact that my coping methods are pretty good at compensating for it. An inattentive ADHD is frequently misdiagnosed in women by GPs as anxiety/depression.

Good luck with the appointment! I know multiple female-bodied persons that I've known for decades, who weren't diagnosed with ADHD until their 30s-40s, and right now I see them happier and more productive and satisfied than they have been in all the years I've known them. I hope whether this turns out to be the specific cause or not in your case, that you see a similar upturn!

Me? Ha. Body hates me, if this didn't happen fairly often I would be worried I was having some sort of heart attack or stroke. And my physical discomfort seemingly caused me to be even worse than usual with communication and so I phrased a comment poorly enough earlier that an anon seems to have taken it as a judgy attack when I just wanted to understand a POV that is different from my own. I apologized for being an idiot who can't adequately get thoughts across and left the thread at that but I still feel like a toxic jerk and being tensed and angry at myself is not helping me get back towards normal physical function.

Afraid to even leave this comment honestly. I just feel like I need to apologize to every human I've ever spoken to and hide with my pets until I die.

So in short, uh. Not good here.
