I think you should do whatever you want! Curating your feed is your best way to keep a feed that makes you happy. Creators aren't owed your reblog/retweet and they're not reasonably harmed by your block.

That said, unless there are NO other characters with moral faults, I doubt it's about moral purity. Humans tend to overvalue team cohesion, which means they put the team above everything that seems against the team, including individuals. Fandom tends to use this type of reasoning when it comes to thinking about characters when you have large ensembles. That's not about morality, that's about loyalty.
