this is one of the only comments i've seen that hasn't condemned the remake of suspiria based on nothing except the fact that it's a remake, which is refreshing. i liked the movie a lot and was also a dancer for 15+ years (i wasn't great, but i did it) so this is a secret i appreciate.

I would get it if the criticism was like it subverts the plot of the original, but there's a weird "how dare you" factor about a horror movie that has a lot of production faults.
