When a really good WIP fic suddenly starts getting edited half way through and start deleting parts of the fic if they don't suddenly decide to take it down completely (not that it has happened often, but its happened to me at least 6 times so far).

Ohhh shit! I just posted down thread about a similar issue!!! I haven't decided if I'd prefer it if they just deleted the whole thing so I don't even have the chance to miss it, or if reading most of the fic was worth it.

Hell, when a completed fic is edited and the author decides to delete entire subplots.
