What the hell is tumblr+??

tumblrs new scheme to make money out of their website.

Naturally everybody hated it, memed it, harassed the few people testing it out and a week later loads of bots named along the lines of Tumblrstaff[jumble of numbers] advertising tumblr dating popped up.

I was off tumblr for a bit til I got caught up on the Marvel shows. Looks like I missed some hilarity.

i've been reporting those bots as spam to tumblr staff. i had no idea they had something to do with tumblr+.

Oh no I don't think its directly connected to Tumblr+ - just thought it was funny that a site that's deciding to try and charge for their services, only for a new round of spam bots to emerge shortly after in a perfect timing to the situation kind of way.
