104. When I started reading Holmes at the beginning of the year, one of the first things I did was check to see if it was going to be a movie. I think what's hilarious is it's going to be based on an "unpublished comic". because lol what might as well say it's a freshly awful idea.

ALSO I KIND OF WISH IT WAS LIKE...HOLMES WAS BROUGHT BACK FROM THE DEAD OR SOMETHING (i think that's been done before) because that would make me less sad.

My problem is more with the movie itself than the fandom that will come from it.

I just wish the movie had faithfully interpreted a story instead of making up a new one that's not canon.

There was a cartoon... Sherlock Holmes in the Twenty-Second Century. Watson was a robot.

Watson was a cyborg later on. I loved that cartoon, whenever I could catch it on Saturday mornings (the woes of being a late riser!). I never did find out how they handled the whole cocaine issue, though. >_>"

That was an effing awesome cartoon. Lestrade's great-great-great-great granddaughter rode a flying car and they fought crime.

There was a made for TV movie where Holmes was frozen and got thawed in 1999 I think it was. Watson was a female cop in that one if I remember right. It was pretty bad though. I'd stick to the Jeremy Brett Sherlock Holmes Adventures tv series. He was by far the best Holmes there ever was.

She was a cop? I thought I remembered her being a psychologist or something, and hence "Doctor Watson."

There was also a Canadian series called "The Adventures of Shirley Holmes".

You're right! My bad! She was actually a doctor. I haven't seen that bad movie in years and had forgotten. I just remember Holmes hacked into the cops computer and that's why I thought she was a cop.
