Let's be real. Southern states have hospitals at capacity. They can easily solve this issue by sending the willfully unvaccinated to a local church parking lot for thoughts and prayer treatment and horse dewormer.

In the south and I cosign this.

Terrified about getting a burst appendix rn. Guess I'll die!

Yep. I'm in the Northeast and while I'm not gonna say that we don't have sick people up here too, the hospitals aren't anywhere near capacity because the majority of our residents are vaccinated. Amazing how that works!

In PA and while they're not talking about it much, we're getting up there in capacity. The focus is just on these other states, but I know way too many folks involved in the hospital systems who get info from there. We are one big event away from filling up... and football and hockey seasons are upon us...

pa's a pretty red state outside of the major cities, though. i lived there for a few years so i'm really not surprised to hear that - i was near philly and it wasn't bad there, but as soon as you started going further out... whew. it was just as bad as the south, honestly.

A lot of the states are at capacity. Idaho isn't exactly Southern and there was a guy on Twitter saying he had to call a hospital in Connecticut to see if they had a bed for his patient. That's pretty full.

I live in Seattle, literally the bluest of the blue, and we're near capacity. This is actually scary, and for the love of god it isn't political.

Seattle is blue but the rest of your state… And if you extend to the neighboring states, it’s even more yikes.
