Yeah, I hear this. I have functioned through all kinds of bullshit but the thing that usually breaks me is something relatively trivial that I was looking forward to getting cancelled.

I totally get you, OP. I'm upset about COVID because of the sick and dying and the unmasked and unvaccinated idiots making this last longer and longer.

But I'm also frustrated that I can't go to the movies. The theater experience has always been a big relaxor for me, and I've especially felt like I need it recently. Plus, Shang Chi isn't being released on Disney Plus, so I won't be able to see it until the DVD comes out unless I pirate it.

When a small and relatively-meaningless thing gets someone this upset, it means "your ability to cope was at 99% capacity already, and this was the last 1% that put it over the edge." You're crying about the full 100% of sad and stressful things in your life, not just the latest little 1%.

Condolences, OP. You have more than enough reasons to deserve to be sad. I hope you get a little catharsis out of this, at least.

Canceling concerts is silly, just make people provide vaccination proof. This has shown to prevent super spreader events and actually creates an incentive for people to get vaccinated. Instead of punishing us all for assholes.

Granted the US should actually create a vaccine database app so people can't just fake cards.

I listen to so many different styles, but my absolute favorites are: power and symphonic metal, dance, classic rock, movie scores and trailer music, folk/celtic/viking music, pop, Latin (pretty much any latin style, and electronic. I also love hip hop/rap, but mostly only the stuff that has music in it too, not just rapping.

The styles I'm not big on are jazz, blues, and death metal and gloom metal (or similar metal styles). And while I like some country, I'm much more picky about country than I am other styles and prefer the country/pop mix stuff.

Right now, things are pretty bad in the US, and a lot of states have all their hospitals at capacity. And people who are vaccinated sometimes are getting Delta because of how many unvaccinated people we have. So being safe and cancelling is totally understandable, especially if any of the band members or their family members have health issues that puts them at higher risk for getting COVID and getting a bad case of it if they do get it.

Genuinely can't tell who's supposed to be who besides the long-hair guy who is supposed to be blond but... isn't? There's a short haired blond guy but he's also the shortest when he's supposed to be the tallest? There's one that's supposed to have red hair that's maybe the middle? What's even going on here
