I've also seen "I was groomed by adults in fandom to think porn was okay."

When they elaborate further, it means they lurked in 18+ spaces where they didn't belong and no one even talked to them or interacted with them in any way.

You can't groom someone when you don't even know they're there! By definition it requires a personal relationship of some kind.
