So, yes, that is what you did.
You may not have said anything explicitly about your own maturity, no, but the very fact that you are judging other people about their maturity level implies that you're somehow placing yourself on a higher level.
If you don't realise either of these things, then you need to seriously put some thought into the way you communicate with people, because you are most definitely not coming across the way you think you are.

So if I were to listen to a piece of music and declare it crap, I'd be implying that I could produce better?
