Ohhhh, gotcha! Thanks for the simple clarification!

I too have seen the other side much more often -- "well ACTUALLY, as you'll note in season four episode four minute forty-four...", hence why this one threw me for a loop.

People are often so unpleasant about it when you get details wrong that you have to preemptively warn your readers that you're changing details, because otherwise they assume you're stupid and don't know the canon.

So the idea that someone who is able to prove, through their writing, that they actually watch the show, is automatically a bad writer is super super weird to me.
