Hehe. Interesting choice of characters, though the dude on the right definitely gets 'abused' more. My biggest issue with the 1st game was the Garridebs, to the point where I started getting concerned about the Beates. At least the random "takedowns" happened less toward the end.

Update though: Thankfully, it's not as bad in the 2nd game.

I think the majority of fans would agree with you. What was your concern with the Beates? They seemed like a loving couple to me.

The only "takedown" I liked was in the second game's first case. I'm not fond of slapstick in general, and they seemed out of place in the more serious moments.

They were cute, but I got a little concerned every time Pat yanked on her husband's scarf, which made it look like she was strangling him. I'm sure that by itself doesn't mean anything, but following the Garridebs, I always wondered if it would get worse. (Fortunately, it didn't.)

I thought it was more her trying to keep him awake, but yeah it was a bit much.
