I've been in TMA fandom for three years, and back then it actually was fairly balanced between fluff and horror and the weird yet delightful combination of both genres. It was great.

But then the podcast exploded in popularity, and most of the people new to the fandom were all about the fluff and much less about the horror, and there was an inexorable shift in focus when it came to fanworks and fannish discussions. :-(
