What changes would you make to your favorite websites?

Well, I generally like Funimation, but it would be nice if it actually worked when I wanted to watch anime.

Twitter isn't my favorite site by any means, but I think they (and Instagram) could make millions of people feel better just by hiding follower count like Tumblr does.

As for my favorite site... Neopets, I guess? There's too many changes to list...

I almost always want more complex search options: OR, NOT, AND, in any combination. I’m just a demanding geek that way.

Even for AO3, (which has excellent tagging and inclusive/exclusive search) I would love an “or” function.

Revert deviantart back to before the horrible new design. (I still consider it a favorite website because I'm attached to the ten years of favorite deviations I've accumulated and I love having it all in one place and I'm still so mad about this change nobody wanted.)

A private messaging system on AO3.

I wish hulu didn't turn itself off every two minutes.

If money were no object, Ao3 would be able to host art and fan animations and other non-text fanworks.

I don't think it counts to just say I wish forums were popular again.

Tumblr's search function would actually work and every post and reply would have easily visible timestamps.

+1 to all of this, especially the forums thing.

I wish I could search for posts with multiple tags on Tumblr. Like, I want to see posts with tags for "Character X" and "Character Y" but not shipping, portmanteau posts.

I dunno about favorite website but I would love if DW implemented the spoiler cut in comments. It worked wonders on LJ and would like to have it back please.

For AO3... an easier filtering system? Like ffnet? I am grateful for all the work they do, though.

I would remove the Nazis from Tumblr. And Twitter & Facebook & Reddit, come to think of it.

Twitter and Instagram need an overhaul.
I need to be able to tell if I saw something already, and improving how to sort through all the new stuff would be great.

Remove the stupid requirement in Youtube that you need a phone number to upload a thumbnail for your video.

Goodreads needs to update their Android app in a million ways, but most of all, I want the search function to actually work.

What happens is - let's say you're going to search for A Book Title. You get as far as A Boo and ta-da the search is matching your title! But if you're a fast typer, you can easily already be typing on to A Book T -- and the match goes away.

In short, the more characters you match, the less accurate of a suggestion you get.

Sometimes even pasting the entire title will have 0 suggested matches, though once you actually submit the search, of course there's the book at the top of the list. I just. Aaaagh. We can quibble about aesthetics and whether it'd be nice to vote on lists in the app, but fix your search, Goodreads!
