JKR probably did not intend for me to be 'FUCK YES DUMBLEDORE IS DEAD PARTY PARTY LET US PARTY' but that's what I did when he died.

(Mission Impossible spoilers I guess) I loved it when Alec Baldwin's character died in whichever Mission Impossible movie he was in, because I think he's really annoying and his death scene was hilarious

In Pillars of Eternity 2, whichever faction leader you helped the most but didn’t side with becomes an endgame boss. The upstart pirate who wants to overthrow the slave traders is technically from the same faction as them, and I helped her enough that the endboss was the man who ran the slave trade that was tearing the islands apart. That was one satisfying kill.

I enjoy it with a sadistic glee any time a villain I like kills a character who had very little characterization beyond "good" or "innocent" and was only put in the story to be their victim.

Tony's death was decently written, and I was glad he was dead because they would stop making everything about him. Only everything was still all about him.

Cersei, only I didn't like how they wrote her death at all.

Palpatine's first death in Star Wars was perfectly done. He should have stayed dead.

I wish Poe had died.

I wish Rose had died or stayed in the other universe and not come back in series 4.

I wish Ted had died on HIMYM and we end up finding out the narrator isn't Ted at all.

When Adelaide looked like she was finally leaving Grimm I was so happy. And then, she just stayed. Stayed forever. And then I was so happy when Juliette died but, nope!, not actually. She also stayed. The storytelling on both was just bad. They both should have died at their natural exit points.

Sylar from Heroes should have died! They just syked us out because they ran out of creative gumption.

Clara from Doctor Who. By the end of her run I just hated her as companion. There were so many points where they could have (and should have) just let her die but they just couldn't seem to let it stick.

Alice from The Magicians. So happy when she died. Once again, the show did me dirty and brought her back, somehow worse than ever.

Huge spoilers for Danganronpa V3




I was relieved that Kaede was a fake protagonist and the first to be executed. Don't give me the talk about fridging, I know and don't care. Any main character who acts relentlessly optimistic and pushes a "Never Give Up!" attitude on everyone in a situation like that needs to die or else they become unbearable. To me.

I wish that Chakotay had died in Voyager. Like maybe his luck finally ran out and he fails to survive his latest shuttle crash, or perhaps he is chopped down by alien lumberjacks who mistook him for an ambulatory tree and were very apologetic afterwards, I'm not picky.

I wish the other three guys in Final Fantasy XV had died as well in the regular end. But I'm also okay with just taking the Episode Ignis alternate ending as the canon ending haha.

By the last volumes of the LastMan comics/franga I was so fed up with Aldana I ardently wished he'd have to commit Heroic Sacrifice at the end. I couldn't believe my luck when he was stabbed! earlier than I hoped for! in an anti-climatic way!! (Of fucking course he was Only Mostly Dead and it didn't stick, but I consider his ultimate fate actually Worse Than Death so I can live with that.)

I am still working on my hot pad I am crocheting. It is cooler this weekend so I won't have to get up quite so early to go walking. So that'll be nice.

Sleeping and spending time with my cat mostly. At some point I might watch some Project Runway. Still getting over a sinus infection, so I need to rest. And my kitty needs some one-on-one time.

I have work. Then cleaning the apartment. Though I will be checking out the Mortal Market hosted by the Order of the Good Death. I have my eye on these tea balls with little coffins as the counterweight and my stepmother is notoriously difficult to get presents for but loooooooves Caitlin Doughty so I am also hoping to find a X-mas present for her.

Dealing with a period that looks like it may be getting a bit heavier & redder six days after I got it (I was just mildly spotting). I don't know if I'm experiencing perimenopause, or the COVID vaccine has interrupted my cycles, or both. It's really annoying to have to wear maxi pads for longer than a week, or every two weeks, just when you thought you might be free of it all forever!

I'm dealing with the fact that I just got fired. And the fact that I don't care much? and hoping it stays that way, that I keep coping and don't crumble down in a few days. Other than that, normal weekend: doing laundry, cleaning my kitchen bit by bit, reading, knitting?

Ridiculous pet things

What are the most ridiculous things your pets have done? Things that make you laugh at just how silly and completely unexplainably adorable they are.


We were on the porch eating dinner. Roast beef. My mom and I were done, but my dad was still eating. Suddenly my cat jumps up on the table, goes over to dad's plate, and grabs his remaining beef and drags it off his plate before we can do anything. We're all laughing too hard to do anything then as she's licking and chewing this big hunk of meat like it is her hunting prize. She has no interest in her actual dinner now.

My first dog Polly (1975-1994, rest in peace, sweet girl) was half border collie and would've made an EXCELLENT sheepdog if she wasn't a suburban family dog, because she LOVED to herd my little brother all over the yard (L M F A O), and she loved chasing the UPS truck (within the confines of our fenced-in yard, she would hunker down the way border collies do when they herd sheep and race from one end of the yard to the other as it went by, every day, for years).

Moon (a cat) loved to "talk": he would make beeping/meeping sounds at me and my roommate, and sit in the bedroom window and "chat" with birds, other cats, and passers-by every morning. He was also a huge fan of the "Oh, You're Going To The Bathroom At 3AM? GONNA POUNCE ON YOUR FEET AND BITE YOUR TOES AND ANKLES BEFORE RUNNING OFF INTO THE DARKNESS LAUGHING AT YOUR BITCHASS!!!" game. He also took a dump in my work shoes when he was mad at me once. I did not discover that until I put my foot in the shoe. Its funny NOW, lol. Rest in peace, Moonkitty, you little shit.

Max, the first dog my husband and I got together, was a rescue and former bait dog that we spoiled rotten for 17 years. He LOVED to attack the automatic sprinklers at our condo complex. One of the best laughs of my entire life was the first time he ever did that. I still remember that evening. I laughed so hard my face hurt the next day. He just kept barking and biting at the water, it was the funniest thing! Max loved when we ordered Chinese food and loved to eat hot peppers, he would roll on the floor and paw at his mouth and then eat another pepper. He also enjoyed eating the occasional bee. Rest in peace, Pupworth P. Puppington.

Olive is my current dog. She has an autoimmune condition that attacks her joints and makes it hard for her to walk (she is under veterinary care and takes meds for her condition), so she is even more spoiled than Max was! We take her everywhere with us and she has her own stroller. She is a notorious sock and underwear thief and I own several pair of both that have tiny little teeth holes in them from where she's taken them and chewed them. She taps you with her paw when she wants your attention, despises baths and nail trims, and can sit up and beg if you're eating something tasty.
