Oh, and it's actually the Pioneer Plaque he's holding there - A similar golden record was sent up with Voyager, but wasn't exactly the same.

Some think it's very romantic, and I agree, but I don't think it's an epic romance, because there just isn't enough focus or page space.

But many of the complaints about it are about the lack of focus. They often talk as if they wanted it all to become two against the darkness. Something like that.
