158: I agree that Keira Knightly is a good actress, I like her a lot, I loved her in Atonement and Pride and Prejudice, but honestly, the '95 version of Pride and Prejudice was so much better. I mean, it's more accurate to the book, which automatically makes it better. Have you read the book?? If you have then your opinion would change.

Wow. That is awfully presumptuous of you. Just because something is more true to a source than something else, doesn't mean that someone is going to prefer it. One or the other may be a better film and then there's the simple matter of personal taste.

Not really. The better movie is the one that succeeds better at being a MOVIE, not at being a photocopy of the book.

I hate Austen so this isn't about adaptations of her work but the above statement is really not neccessarily true.
