103. The old tirade of what is and isn't justified "female character hate" may be a pus-infected debate where one misaimed work means opening up boils that spill over and rupture new boils and may threaten to end up causing an avalanche of slimy, digusting bodily byproducts flinging all over the place... but I must still say: this was a worthy addition to the debate, if only because of how elegantly written it is. Kudos, to the OP.

Also, I prefer to dislike bad characters because they are written in a boring manner, rather than their fictional gender.

105. Holy crap, people outside of soap operas actually have these kind of relationships? I consider myself a more educated man today than I was yesterday.

117. Having an idol whose ideals you wish to live up to is a good thing, I think. That he isn't real and will never truly validate or return your affection may not be a good thing, but on the other hand, it's not like he's ever going to disappoint either. All the same, I hope you find someone who will be proud over your decisions someday. RL may hurt more than the fictional, but the good things it makes you feel also come across just as strong.

119. Oh my word, someone beside me saw Fido. And yes, a hundred times yes, they were adorable. Well and truly adorable, despite the potential brainnomming.

122. Where can I find these bunnies?

133. Are the vikings on drag and riding on stud ponies, or am I just reading too far into things?

135. Man oh man, do I want to see him become an important character SOMEHOW in the show, and not just a one-note Gollum-copy. Preferably a tragic sort of romance and/or kinship with Blackarachnia, but most definitely a scene where he confronts Bumblebee and Bee reacts to the fact he and almost he alone is responsible for messing up Wasp's life so badly and it forces Bee to grow. Deliver to us, TFA. See to it that you deliver.

149. Hell, I want to kick ass in a dress one day, and... it mostly stems from watching too many Looney Tunes episodes, but still, foolish as it may be I just cannot think it wouldn't be awesome too!

150. Oh, those poor, normal characters caught in an all-encompassing shitstorm like CG-world. Poor Shirley, had you only lived in a shoujo-manga you would probably still be alive today. Most likely not any less disliked since you would still be competing with all the other gals for Lelouch, but hey, at least you'd be alive.

153. Link to where I can find out what this all is, would you kindly. Also I shall now hunt down your lucky testicle. It is my and my destiny alone to possess the magical Left Luck-Leprechaun Testes, and now that you have so foolishly unveiled yourself you have no one to blame for it's inevitable loss but yourself.

160. That is adorable, in some naive and slightly, sadly innocent way.

168. It is okay. As someone who can play them and win, I nonetheless understand those who can't. They are that adept at kicking your gamer-ass.

160 OP

Bear in mind that I was a kid. XD

True, true. But even when I was a kid, I didn't see things that way, so it's one of those things that are different for everyone, I suppose.

Do you believe that innocence should be lamented? I think it should be held onto for as long as possible.

I'm just hoping they won't make him interested in Blackarachnia just because of Thrust's thing for her in Beast Machines =/ I like your second desire better, because that's what I want to see too~

Re: 135

[identity profile] georg-vanlunden.livejournal.com 2009-02-25 11:59 pm (UTC)(link)
Aaahaha, this is where I confess I have never seen Beast Machines. Way I'm thinking about it, it would be more like... He is a disfigured mess who just wants to MAIM BUMBLEBEE HURT BUMBLEBEE KILL BUMBLEBEE, she is a disfigured mess who cheats, lies, betrays, manipulates, sells out and hurt others to deal with her shitty fate, together they sure as hell won't be healthy, cute, adorable or snuggly, but they'll... be broken together, and they'll feel that's better than being broken and alone.

As I have previously stated: I think way too much about giant transforming robots.

135 OP

(Anonymous) 2009-02-26 01:40 am (UTC)(link)
Actually, when I read the bit of trivia that went along with his new mode, my heart broke a little bit more. He's already been completely shattered (exactly how bad are autobot prisons, man? That's what I want addressed--the level of Creepy factor the "good guys" have between what happened to Wasp and Jetfire/Jetstorm). Now BA's going to twist him around even more, and manipulate him the way she manipulates everyone else around her. He just doesn't deserve that.

I also hope that through it all, he's still cool. I mean, his escape scene with that little salute? Hardcore. Crazy, but he still knows he's awesome.

...
For the record, though, I totally shipped Thrust/Blackarachnia. People can say what they want about BM, but those two were just hot.

...
and then Silverbolt happened.

but most definitely a scene where he confronts Bumblebee and Bee reacts to the fact he and almost he alone is responsible for messing up Wasp's life so badly and it forces Bee to grow

THIS TIMES A THOUSAND. I would love to see Bee actually facing the consequences of his mistake. Think about what a great moral lesson it would be for the kiddies!!

"Kids, do not sell out your coworkers/classmates unless you're 100% sure they are the badguy, even if they act like an asshole to you. They could one day come back for revenge. A messy, bloody revenge. Don't risk it."

I don't agree with you on a romance with Blackarachina, though. She has enough bitches easily led fools in metallic palms(Not to mention it makes me cringe when she acts like the stereotypical femme fatale character. I just want ONE female character that doesn't use her sex appeal to her advantage, OK??)

Man, that became a bit more ranty than I intended.

See above reply to why I think Blackarachnia/Wasp could work. Not so much a "romance" as... something very sad and tragic, but still better than being alone, you could say.

And yes. MAKE BEE PAY WRITERS. MAKE HIM PAY.
