Oh goodness, someone else who ships it. I... kind of see it in a somewhat tragic "We're both cyborg-freaks so there's really no one else for us but us, but we can take what what we've been given and still try and make the best of it"-way.

Also yes, I want to see Bumblebee suffer, not necessarily in a physical way, but definitely in a mental (processorly?) way. See him really, truly understand that his actions (even though it was not his actions alone since "Longarm" fanned the flames) brought great suffering to someone who didn't deserve it.

I honestly kind of want him to agonize long and hard and try to escape the responsibility at first though. Bee's been consciously written as a jerk before, and I don't want him to lose it all and go into tortured atoner-mode right off the bat.

In this post: I Think too hard about Transformers Animated.

Knowing Bumblebee and his immense thickness, I doubt he'll feel as much guilt as he really should. I would like it if they got into one of those "I feel so bad that I'll let you beat the bolts out of me" situations, though, that'd be interesting.

Re: 135

[identity profile] georg-vanlunden.livejournal.com 2009-02-25 11:16 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, agreed. Also: Optimus/Stryka(or Strika/Striker or however you spell it), although that one is PURELY due to a spectacular brainfart of epically weird proportions.

Re: 135

[identity profile] seiberwing.livejournal.com 2009-02-25 11:18 pm (UTC)(link)
I really, really can't wait for Strika to show up. For one, she's finally a noncurvy female amoung hordes of people shaped like Arcee, and for another, she's Lugnut's consort. HOW DOES LUGNUT OF ALL PEOPLE GET A CONSORT?

I've seen Strika/Magnus. Not sure why.

Re: 135

My cynical side says: In a desperate attempt to show the other bots that he's totally not gay! Totally!

My realistic side says it is silly applying such thinking to a series about giant robots who for all we know do not have a sexuality at all(Grimlock and Blackarachnia are exceptions because Grimlock is primitive and based on a biological animal and Blackarachnia has fleshy parts that does who knows what with her thoughtprocesses).

And then there is the part in the middle that goes "But what if Lugnut is just trying to act out the relationship he WISHES he could have with Megatron, no matter what it is, with another strong and powerful leader-type?"

The middle part is pretty much responsible for why I see Optimus/Strika. It's fond of crossing things over.

Lugnut...has a girlfriend? Lugnut. Has a girlfriend? Lugnut. Has. A. Giiiiirrlldsadadsads

ABORT. YOU'RE NOT TALENTED ENOUGH. DOES NOT COMPUTE.

............................

She's totally a beard. Must be(Also, Optimus/Strika? Where did THAT come from?).

If Strika can put up with Megatron being the invisible third in their relationship, I'm sure she can deal with Lugnut getting a little on the side.

I hope my previous answer didn't made you think I was ded srs - I was just acting a bit silly ^^; But, maybe I tried too hard..?

Lol, no. I was being unserious too. ^_^

Well, you sound fun and it's nice to know more TFA/Lugnut fans.

Re: 135

[identity profile] seiberwing.livejournal.com 2009-02-25 11:46 pm (UTC)(link)
It's the fact that it's Lugnut that gets me, the guy probably jerks off to Megatron's speeches and barely manages to get along with Blitzwing. Him actually landing a girlfriend is beyond me. But the fact that she's also a big, bulky type probably has something to do with it -- or something to do with making sure nobody gets killed during snogging.

Also, icon lulz.

Re: 135

[identity profile] georg-vanlunden.livejournal.com 2009-02-25 11:55 pm (UTC)(link)
Aah yes. There may very well be that she is just the only Decepticon fem-bot enough to hold his attention besides from GLORIOUS MEGATRON.

Yes, that icon was one of the first I found, and it was so delightful I couldn't help but to take it.

Re: 135

[identity profile] scarlet-carsons.livejournal.com 2009-02-26 07:31 pm (UTC)(link)
Lugnut is an implacable stompy war machine with a rocket punch. I feel that these are very appealing qualities in a giant robot; maybe Strika feels the same way.

Who knows, perhaps a Decepticon's attractiveness is determined by the body count they leave behind.

Re: 135

Severed heads make excellent courtship gifts.

Re: 135

[identity profile] xanykaos.livejournal.com 2009-02-26 01:49 am (UTC)(link)
I dunno, when Longarm revealed the trickery, and Bulkhead said "You sent an innocent bot to the stockade" it sure sounded like the full enormity of how bad that is hit them.

Granted, I really do want Bee to go into a bit of denial when he confronts Wasp. I don't want it played for laughs, but hopefully it won't be.

Re: 135

[identity profile] seiberwing.livejournal.com 2009-02-26 03:07 am (UTC)(link)
There was a lot going on at the time, though, kind of hard to tell exactly what of fifty different things was making him feel worst.

Re: 135

[identity profile] xanykaos.livejournal.com 2009-02-26 03:17 am (UTC)(link)
True, and any remorse he was feeling was probably quickly countered by trying not to die. I can't wait to see him have to deal with it when it's the big issue.
...five energon cubes says he just keeps making shallow, crass comments for the whole episode.

Man, when does it come out already?!

Re: 135

[identity profile] pkbitchgirl.livejournal.com 2009-02-26 02:45 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh gawd, Bumblebee is such an annoying little shit compared to G1 Bee, he needs to be taken down a peg or two

Re: 135

[identity profile] seiberwing.livejournal.com 2009-02-27 05:27 am (UTC)(link)
He gets taken down, it's just it never seems to change him.

You can never think too hard about Transformers Animated.*
