Dislike of women. Pixar obviously gives preferential treatment to male characters, aka all of their stars and even the majority of the supporting cast. I'm not saying it's a bad thing, there's naturally some misogyny in all societies but there you go.

So you honestly think male and female characters were given the same quantity and quality of roles in Pixar movies and females weren't at all discriminated against, not even a little bit? Goddamn, Pixar fans.

Why should they try to emulate anyone? Why not be ahead of the curve, like they already are in so many other aspects? Just because something is good doesn't mean there isn't room for improvement, and if you really love Pixar, you would want them to be the best they can possibly be.

You're comparing apples and oranges...a studio can't really emulate a movie, can it?

I actually like a lot of Studio Ghibli films, though it would be nice to see Pixar create female-dominated, male-dominated, and egalitarian movies in their own style. I would say even Disney and Nickelodeon have Pixar beat at this point.

But if you're a Pixar fan, Pixar has already created a gender bias-free egalitarian utopia because ELASTIGIRL, so...meh.

Sexism alone would be having females in more traditionally "feminine" roles and males in more traditionally "masculine" roles, without really favoring one over the other...bias straight up favoring male characters over female is misogyny.
