ITA on 103. What makes it worse are some of the female characters held up as the "feminist ideal" after all - a good number of them are nothing but outlandishly (or under-) costumed, wasp-waisted, ass-kicking Barbies created by men as the fulfillment of some 15-year-old's wet dream of what a "strong" woman should be. And a good deal of the het written around these women centers on how the right man can tame her with a couple of orgasms. *eyeroll*

This is why I like really good OFCs and slash. And het "crack" pairings, which are usually so called because the main male character is matched up with someone who is not a Love Interest and therefore allowed to be an interesting person.
