But why do you prefer her version of Pride and Prejudice? I don't dislike it because of Keira Knightley... well, okay, maybe I do, but that was because I really like Judy Dench (my favorite actress), Brenda Blethyn, and Donald Sutherland, and think they can act circles around Keira Knightley - because they're, well, them, and while Keira Knightley is okay, even decent, she is not yet on par with these three magnificent actors. Judy Dench can actually pull off the lines that the character cannot pull off in the book, making it seem like any Elizabeth oppose her is going to get wiped out on the floor. Brenda Blethyn can pull off dizzy and make it cute and forgivable. And Donald Sutherland is just Donald Sutherland, who makes the lines of Mr. Bennett acceptable. The Elizabeth would truly have to shine in this role, which Keira Knightley cannot quite pull off. Jennifer Ehle might be able to stand a chance in this same role, but Keira Knightley is not yet at the level where she can.

Now, keep in mind that the only younger actors I like are Johnny Depp, Jonathan Rhys-Meyers, Rosario Dawson and Rachel Weisz.

Others, however, include: Anthony Hopkins, Judy Dench, Daniel Day-Lewis, Meryl Steep, Edward Norton, Geoffrey Rush, Antonio Banderas, Hugo Weaving, Laurence Fishburne, Sigourney Weaver, Bill Nighy, Ralph Fiennes, Donald Sutherland, Juliette Binoche, and Colin Firth. These actors are truly wonderful and actually sink into their roles in such a magnificent way that you can't tell its them from movie to movie. If by the end of the movie, you're like "That was so-and-so? I had no idea!" this is the sign of a movie well-acted. Keira Knightley, as of yet, can't do that, but I'm willing to say that she does show signs of being able to in maybe ten years or so.
