Probably for the best that you didn't watch it. I read some articles about occasions when Jerry Seinfeld was being an absolute asshole on it. In addition, it's also been legally contested that the show was stolen from a different person who created the pitch for the show that Seinfeld didn't credit at all.

I only saw one clip of Norm on youtube, but rest in peace...

The HP fanfiction community on Reddit is so annoyingly full of people who want to wank over how amazing and how much better and cooler wizards are and will whine like an overgrown baby about themes of equality and activism. At least a lot of threads I've been seeing.

I'm so annoyed about it.

What's your aversion to watching/reading/doing anyway? I mean, some of the stuff people is saying might be true, or hell all of it might be true. But that doesn't mean that there isn't some value to the joy you get in the meantime. GOT WAS disappointing, but watching it with a friend was really good bonding! And sometimes people are a bit overblown about the problems or you wouldn't mind them the way they do. Sometimes the way they hit is worth the bad stuff! s2 of Agent Carter wasn't for me, but S1 really was and I wouldn't have wanted to miss s1 because s2 wasn't what I'm into. I guess this is a long-winded "take what you need/love and leave the rest" advocation.

If it's because fandom has moved on, that's a little trickier, but I'd say that for big fandoms, after the disappointment, you'll sometimes get third wave enjoyment, where people know the flaws and would like to play in the sandbox anyway.
