I’d still watch it. Most of of the series is episodic anyways you mainly just watch it to see Batman Jesus and Ben Linus interact.

Saaaame. (Except part of it for me was I wasn't enjoying s3 that much. or was it 4? maybe 4. I don't remember. Also I started coming across, uh, information about whatshisface, the Reese guy, and THAT was too much for me.)

Unfortunately Season 5 is mostly not all that good either (it got drastically shortened by the network) so you're probably better off stopping when you're ready.

Wow, I didn't know people hated the ending.

I binged the show shortly after it ended, but never entered the fandom or anything. Maybe I was just riding the high of a short hyperfixation, but I liked the ending a lot. I actually considered rewatching a couple of times but never got around to it.

What's putting you of about it?

I would probably still watch a show that might have a bad ending, since I like to judge those things for myself, but that show might not have any rewatch value for me after the one viewing. I can rewatch shows that start off rocky or hit a rough patch in the middle somewhere, but for some reason thinking about a shitty ending just sours me on an entire property.

What's your aversion to watching/reading/doing anyway? I mean, some of the stuff people is saying might be true, or hell all of it might be true. But that doesn't mean that there isn't some value to the joy you get in the meantime. GOT WAS disappointing, but watching it with a friend was really good bonding! And sometimes people are a bit overblown about the problems or you wouldn't mind them the way they do. Sometimes the way they hit is worth the bad stuff! s2 of Agent Carter wasn't for me, but S1 really was and I wouldn't have wanted to miss s1 because s2 wasn't what I'm into. I guess this is a long-winded "take what you need/love and leave the rest" advocation.

If it's because fandom has moved on, that's a little trickier, but I'd say that for big fandoms, after the disappointment, you'll sometimes get third wave enjoyment, where people know the flaws and would like to play in the sandbox anyway.

Probably for the best that you didn't watch it. I read some articles about occasions when Jerry Seinfeld was being an absolute asshole on it. In addition, it's also been legally contested that the show was stolen from a different person who created the pitch for the show that Seinfeld didn't credit at all.

I only saw one clip of Norm on youtube, but rest in peace...
