(Anonymous) 2021-09-24 02:38 am (UTC)(link)And remember, even if the worst happens and you do flunk out, you will be okay. Honestly, very few people in the world are even going to hold it against you that you dropped out during a pandemic. The broke thing still sucks. I don't know what your home/housing situation looks like and I don't know where you are so I don't know what the cost of living is there. But assuming you're in the US, even if you can't move back home/in with a friend or relative, an apartment and utilities are probably cheaper than room/board/fees at your university. And there are tons of jobs open right now, particularly if you're looking for part time or "not going to make a career out of this" stuffy, so you might even be able to save a little money while you're working things out.
That panicky "I've fucked things up and what do I do now" feeling sucks hard, but it's also a liar because this is just a setback. For right now, find something comforting to do and try to be kind to yourself.
