A) There are guys on cheer teams
B) There is actually an interesting character in this series - he's part of a (formerly) all-women catgirl themed hero group who is canonically a trans guy. Still wears his magical girl-esque costume because he considers it /his/ costume, not a "girl's" costume.
Just a very small side character but still.
