On the one hand, RTD had an idea of what Doctor Who should be as a creative franchise and as a television show that was actually coherent and that I thought was good in concept and sometimes in execution. Which is something that the show has not had for years.

On the other hand, RTD already used his best 4 seasons worth of ideas.
