So sweet! I do this too anon, a nice comment (especially a slightly longer/more specific one) really does continue to encourage me during difficult days for months or even years after.

Same! It's one of the reasons I really try to leave comments on anything I enjoyed or read more than once, because even a "Commenting because I can't leave kudos twice!" makes my day. :)

This is really sweet. honestly, between the thread the other day about commenting on each chapter and thus, o think I'm actually gonna comment on each chapter. My only thing is they tend to be pretty well commented on already, so idk how much of a difference a comment will make,but maybe it does:)

I do this too. I keep every comment email I've ever received and sometimes I'll go back to an old fic just to reread the comments.
