grab an obliging friend and do it for tiktok/instagram, that shit is big there. it will be cute and fun and you'll get likes and maybe even meet some fellow fans you can squee with.

as a frequent judge, stage assistant, and director of cosplay shows at cons, however, I beg of you never to do this on stage. Judges hate those skits but can never say so because they have to be polite and encouraging to all competitors. They haaaate them. They usually go on too long, there isn't anything to judge so they don't really score well in competition, and it's usually only interesting to fans of the pairing, which in any given audience might be three people at best. I've heard the groans behind me when I'm at the table putting my poker face on. Online, it's much easier to have fun with it and reach the fandom, and you get instant gratification. Win-win-win.

Ah, see, my local con has a cosplay lip sync contest as a separate thing! So there is very much a place for that without cluttering up the main cosplay show, and if the ship is a popular one, well, there you go.
