There is plenty of arrogance and stupidity to go around in the MCU.
I could've made a secret about any of the Avengers, including Cap and Bucky, but I didn't.

This secret was about Tony Stark.

And it’s fine that you made the secret about Tony Stark.

But the reason people like AYRT are skeptical of your intentions with this secret, is some precedent of people who use these arguments being diehard Team Cap or Stucky shippers. It’s not always the case, of course.

And adding to that, you say that you have problems with many more of the Avengers. And you say that you easily could have made secrets about them, highlighting your problems. But it’s likely you won’t, and will just leave it at this secret about Tony.

That’s a very common sentiment with people who really hate Tony. They usually say “I have a lot of problems with the other characters too” as a smokescreen to appear unbiased when questioned about why Tony is always the only one who bears the blame for everything. But those problems with the others conveniently never get brought up. It’s still only Tony Problems.
