Why does it matter when the show first aired and when the reboot is supposed to come out? I really don’t understand your complaint here. Production dates should have nothing to do with a show that depicts the child of Donna and Eric, especially because Leia’s childhood WOULD be in the 90s.

I don’t know if I like the idea of this show either. But I don’t get why you think it shouldn’t be set in the 90s based on the date the show first aired, or the dates That 70s show took place in. Those are irrelevant to the concept of this reboot completely.

And I get that feeling ancient is off-putting, I really do. But that’s not a logical reason to dislike a reboot, just because it makes you feel that way personally?
