Despite the fact I hated Whedon's writing even back in the day, I really found the term "jossed" useful on so many occasions, because it was shorthand for such a very specific thing that happens a lot.

It seems like someone told me of a corresponding term for when your headcanon/fic element winds up being canon, as opposed to your headcanon/fic element being contradicted/made impossible by the canon, but I can't remember what it is.

IME, the opposite is sometimes called being "Kripked"
