i agree. she doesn't think she's transphobic (she has trans friends!), she thinks that the concept of trans people is a threat, not the people themselves. you know, trans women aren't predators.... but if you let trans women into women's bathrooms you invite men as well and we can't sacrifice the safety of cis women for this. adult trans men are valid... but poor widdle teenage girls should not have access to hormones because what if they confuse how much it sucks to be a woman with wanting to be a man :/
that is her brand of transphobia (for now)

Huh? They’re making fun of JKR when they included the “she has trans friends” part, because it’s the same old “I can’t be racist because I have black friends” bigot chestnut. They’re not saying they believe it actually makes her not a transphobe.
