Well...

Bev was your classic case of someone who cherry-picks the verses they use. But yeah, I was mystified by how She and Monsignor ever thought their "angel" was something good. The fact that he couldn't go in the sun after being turned should have been a giveaway.

So is OP. Otherwise how can Paul talk about entertaining angels unawares (Heb 13.2)? Wheels with eyes, bit hard to miss.

That was the point, I felt? It was clearly a vampire, but the story was about how some people will twist anything - any concept, any idea, any malevolent monster from the desert, any passage of roughly two thousand year-old literature - to suit their religious fervor, and what that can do to a community.

It was a vampire angel or something like that. No?...

I'm just more confused that none of these people didn't think, "WELL DEMONS ARE FORMER ANGELS"

I know it was confirmation bias with the "angel" doing "miracles" but I look at that thing and go "oh that things a fallen angel/devil" if I believe in that bullshit at all

to be maximally fair, 'be not afraid' appears in the new testament and 'wheels upon wheels' is in like, Amos and shit
